A picture book series for kids who want to overcome adversity by Ayodélé Olayinka and Maryam Myika Day.

You are more than enough.

My father died when I was 8 months old. The perfect world I was born into was falling apart at the seams. 8 years later, I’ve learned early that young kids go through things.

“This Is My Story” is a children’s picture book designed to start the conversation around adversity at an early age, the importance of positive mental health for young children and growing up with the loss of someone you love.

I want to share my story so that you know, you’ve got this.
